Luxury Apartments · Leipzig

Stay where Leipzig keeps its romance

Nine apartments, named after the rivers and floodplains that run through Leipzig. Elegance, privacy and short ways into a city where the music never quite falls silent.

The idea

A small collection of great names

Romantik Apartments is not one address among many but a curated collection: nine residences furnished with the same feel for material and proportion that a luthier brings to tuning a violin. Oak floors that warm in the morning light, black surfaces on which the gold of the fittings glows quietly, and silence where you want it.

Each apartment carries the name of a Leipzig waterway — Pleiße, Parthe, Elster, Elsteraue — for the rivers and the broad floodplain forest shape this city as much as its music. You are not staying in a museum but in a temporary home that carries that lineage forward.

The promise

What awaits you

Private access

You enter your apartment contactlessly at any hour, with your own code instead of a reception desk and queue.

Curated interiors

From the morning espresso to the Egyptian-cotton bedlinen, every detail is chosen rather than assembled.

In the heart of Leipzig

The Gewandhaus, St Thomas Church and the cafés of the old town lie a few minutes on foot from your door.

Personal service

A table at Auerbachs Keller, a concert ticket, a late arrival: we arrange it discreetly.

The collection

Nine apartments, nine characters

From the compact design studio beneath the roof to the generous de luxe suite, each residence has its own signature and its own name. Choose the apartment that suits your stay.

Leipzig

A city you hear before you see it

Leipzig carries its history quietly. In St Thomas Church the Thomanerchor still sings Bach, the Gewandhaus is home to one of the oldest orchestras in the world, and the Notenspur music trail leads you over cobbles beneath which Mendelssohn, Schumann and Wagner left their mark. In between lie courtyards that galleries, bookshops and small coffee roasters have made their own.

Walk through the old town at dusk and you sense why Leipzig is called the city of romance: light from tall nineteenth-century windows, a cello bow practising behind a half-open door, the scent of coffee and rain on old stone. From here the lakes to the south are as close as an evening concert or a meeting in the centre.
